Trouble between Leads and Producers of 'Aisi Deewangi...' solved?

We had only recently reported about how actors Jyoti Sharma and Pranav Misshra of Zee TV's Aisi Deewangi...Dekhi Nahin Kahi, had put in their papers and were all set to quit the show as the actors and the producers were not working on good terms.

And before things got out of hand, the actors requested CINTAA to intervene in the matter, which was soon followed by a letter from the producers end as well, to CINTAA requesting an intervention.

The actors had complained of ill-treatment being meted out to them on the sets by way of abuses, taunts etc., coupled with irregular working hours and inhuman working conditions. On perusal of the contract, there were irregularities regarding the working hours, days of shoot, exit clause, exclusivity, etc.

After the complaint, a CINTAA representative, also visited the set of the said show to analyze and gauge the situation and plight of the actors and after due fact finding and interaction with the producers, actors and other people on the sets, the report was negative.

A joint meeting was held between the producers and the actors in the CINTAA office, where the issues were discussed and a working solution was arrived at.

We contacted Pranav who told us, "As of now, CINTAA will be taking care of the entire issue and I have full faith in the association."

Also, according to our sources we hear that the actors have agreed to serve their notice period and will also be seeing whether the working conditions improve at their work place or not.
