The alleged separation of Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rathee is trending all day on most social media platforms. The couple who run one of India’s biggest family and lifestyle vlogs are apparently living apart since a few months. Ritu Rathee is a pilot and has her own page where she endorses brands. This happened after a Bhajan Marg video went viral. A woman who looks like Ritu Rathee is weeping in front of Shri Hit Premanand Sharan Ji Maharaj and telling him that she is struggling in her married life. She says she was a loving wife all through but what she got in return was betrayal and humiliation.
Now, fans have dug up the video when they visited him as a couple with their daughters Rashbhari and Chaitravi. They had asked him if a marriage was indeed for seven lifetimes. Shri Hit Premanand Sharan Ji Maharaj brushed it aside saying that there is no guarantee a person is born as a human in every birth. He gave an example of how a devout wife was born as a princess in a palace in her next birth while her husband was born as an elephant suffering in pain. Only when did the wife meet the elephant and chanted God’s name in front of him, did he feel a sense of relief. He said belief in God should be paramount, and not sense of self or ego for married couples.
He also said that couples should know how to ignore nagging and live with love. Shri Hit Premanand Sharan Ji Maharaj has his aashram in Vrindavan. Ritu Rathee is an ardent follower of Guruji’s spiritual teachings. She was seen weeping in the latest Bhajan Marg video. Netizens identified her seeing the salwar kameez and glasses. She said that she did not know whether to fight or just surrender before God. The guru tells her that Kartavya is Param Dharam in Sanatan culture. He says even Krishna told Arjuna that he needs to fight in the battle of Kurukshetra. It looked like he tells her to have faith in God and gear up for an ugly custody battle ahead.
