She told Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj that she was betrayed in her marriage. She said she had been a devoted wife all through but what she got in return was humiliation, pain and deceit. The video went viral and netizens expressed sympathy for Ritu Rathee. On platforms like Reddit, people claimed that Gaurav Taneja was short-tempered and had a roving eye. Gaurav Taneja requested for privacy saying he respected the mother of his children.
