In a previous interview with Bollywood Hungama, Parineeti Chopra was asked which of her films she would like Priyanka Chopra’s daughter, Malti Marie, to watch as she grows up. Referring to her niece as 'MM,' Parineeti expressed that she would want her to see "Hasee Toh Phasee." She explained that it is her most 'kid-friendly' movie.

Parineeti mentioned that she wants her niece to understand her playful side, saying, “I would want her to know that Tisha maasi is a crazy person, and Hasee Toh Phasee would show her that craziness.” Thus, she affirmed her recommendation for the film.

"Hasee Toh Phasee" is a romantic comedy featuring Parineeti as Meeta, alongside Sidharth Malhotra in this 2014 release.
