However, a sombre incident occurred as three fans lost their lives due to electrocution while erecting a cut-out of the actor in honour of his birthday. Three others were severely injured in the unfortunate incident.
Just before his birthday, Yash expressed his gratitude to his fans on his official X account (formerly Twitter), acknowledging their unwavering support. In a heartfelt note, he mentioned how their love fuels his journey in the entertainment world.
Due to prior commitments, Yash conveyed that he wouldn't be able to meet his fans on his birthday but emphasized that every wish from his fans is deeply appreciated and holds a special place in his heart.
Yash's last appearance was in Prashanth Neel’s blockbuster "KGF: Chapter 2," where he reprised his role as Rocky. The highly anticipated sequel featured an ensemble cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, Raveena Tandon, and Easwari Rao.
Looking ahead, Yash is gearing up for his next project, Geetu Mohandas’ third directorial venture titled "Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups." Announced in December last year, the film promises to unravel a gripping narrative around a drug cartel and mafia in Goa.
