Sony TV as a channel may not have the greatest numbers to boast about when it comes to the viewership of its shows, but it certainly has some of the best content-driven shows of all time.

What continued with shows like Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Beyhadh a couple of years ago, was initiated back in 2007-2010 with the crop of Yash Raj shows.

And amidst all this, there was an all women-led show called Ladies Special which got all the accolades and appreciation.

The show had four female protagonists who travel by the ladies special train, and the way their lives were explored parallelly.

The original cast had Been Gupta, Shilpa Tulaskar, Ashita Dhawan and Payal Sarkar playing the lead roles in the show.

And now after all these years, the channel is all set and planning to get the show back after all these years with a new season.

Yes! That's right. Ladies Special will be back a new season, but this time it will have a fresh cast altogether. The casting process has already begun.

The show is slated to go on floors by the end of September.
