Internet is buzzing with rumors of a brewing feud between the leads of the much-anticipated film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's best-seller, It Ends With Us. The movie, which officially hit theaters on Friday, August 9, has been overshadowed by reports of tension between its stars, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. The two reportedly maintained a noticeable distance from each other during the film’s premiere in Manhattan on Monday, August 5.
According to insiders, what should have been a night of celebration was marked by the duo's deliberate avoidance of one another. Despite walking the same red carpet, Lively and Baldoni arrived separately and were seen mingling with different sets of guests throughout the evening. Eyewitnesses noted that the two actors did not exchange a single word and were even seated in different theaters during the screening.
The alleged discord between Lively and Baldoni, who not only stars in but also directed the film, reportedly stems from an uncomfortable atmosphere on set. Sources close to the production have claimed that the 40-year-old actor-director created a challenging work environment, particularly for Lively, who had just returned to work after giving birth to her fourth child with husband Ryan Reynolds.
One insider revealed that Lively felt particularly uneasy due to comments made about her postpartum body. "It wasn’t just Blake who felt the strain; the entire cast struggled with Baldoni’s approach," the source added. These rumors have cast a shadow over what should have been a triumphant moment for the film.
However, those close to Baldoni have come forward to defend the actor, stating that he would never intentionally make anyone on set feel unsupported. In fact, Baldoni has spoken highly of Lively’s creative talents, even hinting that she might be better suited to direct the potential sequel, It Starts With Us, for which he currently holds the rights.
Despite the swirling rumors, Baldoni has praised Lively’s performance, expressing his belief that her portrayal of Lily Bloom will resonate deeply with audiences. Whether or not the alleged tension will impact the potential sequel remains to be seen, but for now, the focus remains on how the film will be received by the public.
As the dust settles, all eyes are on Lively and Baldoni to see if they will reconcile for the sake of the film's future or if the supposed rift will mark the end of their collaboration.

I heard the opposite that Ryan rewrote rooftop scene and Blake directed some portions which made Justin uncomfortable as he was meant to be the director of this movie.
