Tehseen Poonawalla's Racist Comments on Asim Riaz Defended By Wife, Monicka Vadera

Yet another day, and yet another Bigg Boss 13 controversy to look forward to. The latest to hit the newswagon is the latest wild card entrant in Bigg Boss 13, Tehseen Poonawalla. For the uninitiated, a fight broke out between Tehseen and Asim Riaz in the house, where harsh words were exchanged at both ends, just like all other fights in the house. Post the incident, as Tehseen was seen apologizing to Asim, but fans were not happy about it.

Poonawalla's comments were considered to be racist and now, his wife has come out and released a statement on the same. Tehseen was seen apologizing to Asim right after the incident and admitted that he said everything in jest. However, it seems to have been misunderstood by Asim’s fans who have now construed that Tehseen was making fun of the former on account of him being a Kashmir and a model.

Here's Vadera Poonawalla's statement on the same as well "Both my husband and Asim are adults and know how to handle themselves. If they had an issue they’ll settle it whether inside or outside amongst themselves as would other players. Asim is a sensible participant and he sensed no harm. It’s a part of the game. I don’t see why others who aren’t even inside the house are making a huge deal of this and trying to give this matter a different light on Tehseen’s name especially when he’s clearly been seen apologizing for the jest. Let them play the game as players & let’s stop backseat publicity or coverage seeking," she said.
