Tamil actor Bala gets married for the third time with his relative, Kokila

Actor Bala surprised everyone when he arrived at the Kaloor Pavakulam Temple in Kerala with his bride. The Tamil star married his Chennai-based relative Kokila for the third time in a private ceremony, attended by just a few family members and close friends.

In a press interaction shortly after the wedding, Bala shared that his wife, Kokila, is the daughter of his maternal uncle. He mentioned that marrying her fulfilled one of her long-held dreams. Bala expressed gratitude for Kokila, stating she has been his strongest supporter, helping him recover and regain his health.

Additionally, he addressed the timing of his new marriage amid ongoing controversies. The actor noted that both he and his wife are open to receiving blessings from anyone who wishes to offer them.

He said, “Kokila is my relative, and I wish my mother could have been here to celebrate with us. She’s 74 and in poor health but she really wanted to attend. This marriage fulfills a dream that Kokila has held onto since her youth. We welcome any blessings from those who give them. Although Kokila doesn’t speak Malayalam, she has been a great support to me as my health has improved over the past year.”

In the wedding photos that have quickly gone viral online, Bala is seen dressed in a white kurta paired with a golden veshti. His bride, Kokila, looks stunning in a mustard and maroon silk saree, complemented by carefully chosen gold jewelry.

For those who may not know, Bala has been married twice before. His first marriage was to singer Amrutha Suresh in 2010, and they have a daughter named Avantika. The couple divorced in 2019. He then married again in 2021 to Elizabeth Udayan, a doctor, but they began living separately by 2023.
