Sunny Leone to Star in ALT Balaji’s Web Series on Kamasutra

Sunny Leone has been in the Indian entertainment industry for almost seven years and starred in a number of Bollywood films. The gorgeous diva who made her digital debut with her own biopic in Zee5’s Karenjit Kaur might star in Producer Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming web series based on Kamasutra.

As per reports, Sunny is in talks with Ekta for a few months now. While Ekta is convinced that Sunny is suitable for the role, Sunny has heard the outline of the series and has agreed in principle to be part of it. The series will be set in the 13th century and depict the story of women from the Goli caste in Rajasthan, who used to serve as mistress to the Kings.

Sunny and Ekta have earlier collaborated for Ragini MMS 2 post which, she featured in films like Hate Story 2, Ek Paheli Leela, Mastizaade among others. She performed on item songs in popular movies like Raees, Singh is Bling and Baadshaho.

Kamasutra is an ancient Indian text in Sanskrit, which talks about sexuality, eroticism and way of living. The ancient text which has now become popular around the world has inspired many films including Mira Nair’s feature film Kamasutra: A Tale of Love.
