As the nation struggles to deal with the second wave of the deadly Covid-29, the news is flooded with rapidly increasing death tolls, hospitals facing lack of beds and our timelines full of SOS calls for medical help.
Amid the grim times of the pandemic, Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has expressed his displeasure over the politicians as he feels that they did not do enough to help the country during the crisis.
Hindustan Times quoted the actor as saying:
“Every politician who is coming onto the seat is thinking of the next five years, and how they will make money and not how they should give back to the system. We are the ones who elected them. (Today), they made us run for beds, they made us run for oxygen, and made us run for air. They made us run for everything.”
Shetty adds that while now is not the time for blame game, people should be cautious and “make them genuinely run and work for the votes”. He added:

Absolutely true, people need to vote for political party based on their views and development not on caste, race or religion
