Sumedh Mudgalkar has made a name for himself as Krishna, where he played the role for about 3 years in the show RadhaKrishn. Co-starring Mallika Singh, the two managed to impress fans with their on-screen chemistry, as well as the performances. And now, the actor will be seen playing the role of Lord Vishnu in Haathi Ghoda Paalki Jai Kanhaiya Laal Ki. With the actor donning the role of a God once again, India Forums asked him if being stereotyped is something he fears and thinks about.

To this, the actor tells us, ''My schooling is such that the characters I play, it is about how honestly I play. The thought that I might get stereotyped exists, but this did not come on my own. Before my show RadhaKrishn, when I told someone that I am playing this character, that person told me, that once you play Krishna, the world wouldn't want to see you in other roles. After that, bits and chunks have stayed in my head, but the rest, not really. I think, whatever I play, I will do so honestly and for me, what a bigger concern is as an actor. Because as an actor, the work is not limited to on-screen, there is a lot off-screen too, and I think it is an understood fact.''

He added, ''So when people have expectations and they see you in a certain way even in your personal life, for example, from inside, I am a kid at heart, and when people look at me having fun and wonder how the character I play on-screen is and how I am behaving, so that is something I have to protect myself from, that is people's expectations from me, and stay myself and tell people that yes, this is me, I am an actor, and that's all I am, and I am playing this character. I have faith in my talent and if tomorrow, we play completely opposing characters as well, I am sure we'll do justice to it.''

Well, come to think of it, it is an actor's job to make their characters believable, and given how beautifully he does that, we are sure he would slide into a different role with utmost brilliance as well.
