Sumbul Touqeer Responds To Asim Riaz Controversy In Khatron Ke Khiladi 14; Says THIS

Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 has been all over the news ever since it started last month. In the first week, everyone was buzzing about the intense clash between Rohit Shetty and the contestants, especially Azim Riaz. Things escalated further with a heated argument between Asim and Abhishek Kumar. Asim Riaz's significant disagreement led to his exit from the show. Following this incident, numerous celebrities have criticized his actions. Most recently, Sumbul Touqeer from Imlie fame expressed her thoughts on the controversy, stating that the situation was "uncalled for."

Speaking to Buzzzooka TV on the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 controversy, Sumbul Touqeer stated, “These guys have turned Khatron Ke Khiladi into Bigg Boss, and that makes no sense to me. Why even have two different shows then? Just put some stunts and this drama in Khatron Ke Khiladi, and you don’t need two shows then. I felt this was very uncalled for, and also very unnecessary because this show is for stunts.”

In the second episode of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, contestants Asim, Aashish Mehrotra, and Niyati Fatnani had to collect flags from a seesaw as part of a stunt. Only the top performers would be safe from elimination. Aashish and Niyati completed the task successfully, but Asim struggled. He argued that the task was impossible and challenged the team to demonstrate it in front of him. Host Rohit Shetty then showed him rehearsal videos, leading to a confrontation between Rohit and Asim. Rohit warned Asim to behave, and Abhishek Kumar also got involved in the altercation trying to calm Asim down.

Apart from Asim, Aashish Mehrotra, and Niyati Fatnani, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 features other well-known contestants such as Shalin Bhanot, Krishna Shroff, Gashmeer Mahajani, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sumona Chakravarti, and more. On being asked about Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia’s performance, she reportedly said, “I will only say that Nimrit is such a strong woman. I love her with all my heart and I have been missing her for a long time. It has been a while since I have seen her. In fact, I am watching KKK for her as and when I get the time.”
