Sumbul Touqeer bids farewell to Kavya: 'This is just the beginning; keep supporting me

Sumbul Touqeer, who gained widespread fame as Imlie and later appeared in Bigg Boss 16, recently surprised her audience when the announcement came that her show Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon would be going off air.

The show, which premiered on September 25, 2023, enjoyed a successful run for almost a year before its makers decided to end it.

In a conversation with India Forums, Sumbul discussed the show's going off-air and shared a heartfelt message for her fans.

1. How do you feel about your show Kavya - Ek Jazbaa Ek Junoon coming to an end, and what will you miss the most about playing the lead role?

I have mixed feelings about the show's ending. It's sad to say goodbye, but I'm also grateful for the journey. Playing Kavya was a unique experience; I'll miss being in her shoes daily. I'll miss the bond with the cast and crew—we became a family.

2. What has been the most significant lesson you've learned from working on this show, and how do you think it has contributed to your growth as an actor?

My biggest lesson is how important it is to stay dedicated and focused. Kavya's character pushed me to explore new sides of my acting. This show helped me grow, not just as an actor but also as a person. It taught me patience and hard work, which I'm thankful for.

3. What message would you like to give to your fans who have supported you and the show throughout its journey?

I want to thank all my fans from the bottom of my heart. Your support means everything to me, and I wouldn't be here without you. Even though Kavya is ending, this is just the beginning. Please keep supporting me in my future projects.
