Star Plus's "Anupamaa" is currently making headlines due to the departure of a key character. Sudhanshu Pandey, who played the famous role of Vanraj Shah, recently announced his exit from the show. Much to fans ' disappointment, he shared the news of his departure on his social media. Vanraj Shah was almost as beloved as the titular character, Anupamaa, and Sudhanshu's performance was widely appreciated, solidifying his status as one of television's most popular actors.

Adding to the buzz, fans have also noticed that Sudhanshu Pandey and the show's producer, Rajan Shahi, have unfollowed each other on social media. This observation, combined with the fact that Rajan Shahi did not publicly wish Sudhanshu on his recent birthday, has led fans to speculate that there might be tension between the two, which could have influenced Sudhanshu's decision to leave the show.

Previously, Rajan Shahi, the producer and director of Anupamaa, addressed rumours regarding Rupali Ganguly's and Gaurav Khanna's potential exits from the show. Speaking to Hindustan Times, he stated, "This is completely false. Gaurav and Rupali are very much part of the show, and their characters are integral to the story. I don't know where these rumours come from."

"Anupamaa" is produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under the Director's Kut Productions banner and features Rupali Ganguly, Madalsa Sharma, and Gaurav Khanna in the lead roles.
