Ami Trivedi reacts on quitting Vijayendra Kumeria-Kritika Yadav Star Plus show

Ami Trivedi, known for her role as Manjiri in Star Plus' popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was recently in the news for rumours of her return to the series. However, the actress clarified to India Forums that she hasn't been approached for the show yet.

According to Free Press Journal, Ami Trivedi has backed out of Vijayendra Kumeria and Kritika Yadav's upcoming Star Plus show at the last minute. Reports suggest that Ami was nearly finalized for the role. Her costumes were ready, the look test was done, and she was set to start shooting soon, but she unexpectedly decided not to proceed with the project.

When India Forums contacted Ami Trivedi, she confirmed the news: "Yes, I am not doing the show. It was a mutual decision between the production house and me. It's for personal reasons, and I don't want to disclose the details. All I can say is that it was an amicable decision."

When asked if her exit was related to a possible return to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ami reiterated, "I've already clarified that I have not been approached for that show."

Reports also indicate that Bhawna Aneja, known for her roles in Srimad Ramayana and Raisinghani Vs Raisinghani, will now replace Ami in the upcoming project.
