*wink*.
Apart from eternal movies, TV shows and songs, it was the era of evergreen fashion trends. From chokers, crop tops to high-waisted denims, we borrowed everything from that era and rocked it. One such popular fashion trend was sultry chiffon sarees. From Sridevi to Raveena Tandon and Madhuri Dixit to Urmila Matondkar, every 90's Bollywood diva has rocked them and how. We recently spotted some of our TV divas bringing back the charm of chiffon sarees and we know what's on our next shopping list.
Here have a look at how these TV actresses rocked chiffon saree looks:
The credit for making chiffon sarees a trend should be given to Sridevi. Jannat Zubair's recent look reminded us of Sridevi's look from the song Kaate Nahi Kat te' from superhit movie Mr. India, and we already want to see her dancing on it. Jannat, are you listening?
Do we even have to mention who Karishma Tanna reminds us of in this sultry yellow saree? Yes, it's none other than Raveena Tandon's look from her career best song Tip Tip Barsa Paani'. *Drools*
Well, who can even forget Mandakini's controversial bold look from the movie Ram Teri Ganga Maili'. Mandakini dancing in the waterfall made every man go weak in their knees and we think Monalisa does that too. Her look seems very much inspired from Mandakini.
Who does Shivangi Joshi remind you of in this picture, any guesses? Yes, Sridevi from Chandni. Shivangi looks absolutely Chandni-like in this gorgeous saree, and we wonder if she danced on Tere Mere Hontho Pe'.
Whose look did you like the best? Let us know in the comment section below.
