Like you would expect an awards night to be, Gold Awards 2019 was that and beyond, with all the fashionable front runners of the television world stepping foot at the event with gowns and beauty looks that meant extravagance to the E!
The event was definitely a treat for fashion hungry eyes, with Hina sweeping us off our feet with a futuristic fashion pick to Rubina leaving us a wee bit disappointed, there were few style fails too.
Here’s to looking at all that and more from last night.......
Think of the blazer dress trend and Anita Hassanandani got a really fancy one to the event. It was a beauty of a blazer dress we must say! With long pleats on one side, striking gold motif and white detailed sleeves it became an instant hit with us.
Divyanka Tripathi gave out doll vibes. Her flushed makeup, side swept curls and that perfect pose, everything was something we visualise when we think of dolls. While we really liked that vibe, if there was one thing we could change then it would be the colour, we think a deeper hue would have achieved a balance here!
Erica Fernandes got some Audrey Hepburn inspired glamour on the desk. The actress got it all absolutely right with this black silk gown, diamond jewels and hairdo. Hollywood inspired glamour gone totally right. We love this!
Helly Shah got some gorgeous green glam game to the event. While we love that green gown we also wish there was no diamond belt on it and Helly forgot to wear those earrings. This look failed to hit our style radar.
Hina Khan made a very futuristic fashion move with that gown. She amplified it with a complimenting makeup look and a mawhawk inspired hairdo. Hina was the style surprise we expected her to be. Real style seer!
Prints are always good, but with Rubina Dilaik's androgynous jumpsuit we can't say the same. It is little too much for the eyes. However we do like the way Rubina's tried to keep this busy outfit fuss free with a top-knot and flawless makeup. Something the actress is always loved for by us!
Surbhi Chandna who took home the trophy for stylish diva looked every bit the diva she is in this sequence and stone replete gown. Her hair and beauty is great too. However if we could change one thing about her avatar, it would be the colour of that outfit. It is unique but not out favourite.
Sending a message the fashionable way. Debina Bonnerjee looked stunning as she sported a white gown embellished with an embroidered tree motif. Debina's style pick suggested the ongoing Aarey massacre. This one is clear proof that fashion is inclusive and a great way to send out a message. Respect to this gown!
