Star Plus' Chandra Nandini to go OFF-AIR?

If rumours are to be believed, the show will shut shop soon.

It was only yesterday that we reported about how Star Plus' Chandra Nandini had roped in actor Siddharth Nigam to play the role of the grown up son of Chandra (Rajat Tokas), Bindusara.

But according to latest reports coming in, this 20 year leap will pave the way for the show's ending.

As per a report on a website, the love story of Chandra and Nandini will end with the separation of the couple. As per history, Chandra and Nandini never had a love story, but the makers deviated the track mildly.

After a discussion between the channel and the makers who have a difference of opinion on the climax of the show, the final decision has been taken which will show the separation of the couple.

We tried getting in touch with Shweta Basu Prasad, but couldn't get through.

What misfired.Rajat's charisma and his devotion went to dust due to the horrible storyline.Both show tremendous chemistry in romance..but Nandini's non committed attitude and too much of negativity boomed out.Plz after the entry of Siddharth take the show in the positive trend..obliterate all the negative characters,let him find his chotimaa and reunite with his papa

Rajat Tokas was the saving grace of CN...hatts off to him for carrying this show for 10 months..
Rajat u deserve better show & better team to perform with..you gave ur life n soul but others screwed ...
relived that now RT will be free from the crap

rajat tokas definitely showed different dimensions of acting as chandra. whtever maybe the show rajat truly showed a different avatar from before. & not to forget amazing hot chemistry of rajat-shweta which unfortunately wasnt used properly. ups & downs may come but true talent always stays.

win bcoz the haters certainly have more timehats off rajat tokas for carrying the show alone on ur shoulders for almost a year. 8.30pm was a cursed slot for SP but ur show completed 200 episodes on such a tough slot. thts off. haters may bark but thts also ur to think about u than their favs.

Happy that its ending..relieved to see Rajat Tokas out of this show..the show was good till they focussed on CGM but after padmanand died Ekta kapoor went on SBS way & lost the TRP..so Rajat Tokas fans are happy because thos show doesnt deserve a gem of a talent like Rajat

Nevertheless Rajat Tokas gave stupendous performances as CGM in CN.
His entry was one of his best entries,the war of cgm vs nand was one hell of a treat to watch..also Rajat Tokas potrayed the funny side,intense side,romantic passionate side,grey shade tedha type & ofcourse dominating side of his acting in the show which made it run nicely for 9whole mnths after which SBS came..

STOP DIS NONSENSE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.. I hope ekta get her lesson. From starting of this show we know it gonna flop even if cvs were hell bent to copy JA. Bt Ekta must realise chemistry is something which cant be created. Its natural thing. The couple of the show utterly flop with its berserk storyline and inconsistent characterisation. Why not Ekta dishes those things which has market demand. FANS WANT TO SEE RAJAT PARIDHI TOGETHER. NOTHING MATTER TO US ANYMORE. EKTA WE HAVE WARNED YOU AGAIN AND AGAIN. Bt you being a stubborn woman ignore this huge demand of world wide fandom. Aab bhukto with this crap.
