Sr. Khan Pataudi Passes Away

Latest update from Delhi brings the unfortunate news of the sad demise of cricketing legend, affectionately called 'Tiger', Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.

As was recently reported, having completed his 70 year mark earlier in January this year, Nawab Pataudi was keeping consistently unwell, and was hospitalized for lung infection second time this month, few days ago.

Children and actors Saif Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan, the lesser known sibling Saba, and wife and yesteryear cinema legend Sharmila Tagore are heard to have been by his side constantly in these last days. Only a day after Saif's beau Kareena's 31st birthday - which was a quiet affair keeping his condition and the gravity of situation - Pataudi Sr. departed for heavenly abode earlier today, the 22nd of September. The ultimate cause of death is being cited as the inability to maintain the oxygen levels after rapid deterioration in his condition since morning.
