Squid Game 2: We are introduced to the new players as the game continues

Circling back to the times where COVID-19 was still a talking point and a menace but the majority of the world were introduced to a Korean series that went on to become a sensation. Squid Game - a show that transcended boundaries and was a global success continued to be the most-talked about series of all time at that point.

Netflix's TUDUM event has already introduced some big nuggets of teasers and trailers of some mega projects and needless to say, Squid Game is obviously one of them as we are set to be introduced to Squid Game 2.

As we can see, this teaser isn't a teaser but cast announcement and doesn't show us any footage from the second season at all. Instead, we are introduced to the new players of Squid Game 2 in Squid Game style. The second season will see Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Sung-hoon and Yang Dong Geun joining the cast as new players. Fans will also see season one cast members Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-Hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo return to the show. The clip opened with a quick peek of season one. It then showed the new cast walking up to a podium. It has two lights--green and red. All of them press the green button.

With the return of some of the original cast members and the exciting additions, fans can hardly wait to see what's in store for their favorite characters in the upcoming season and are no doubt anticipating the return of the gripping thrill-ride that was season one.
