Sonya Saamoor on doing Fuh se Fantasy: The character was challenging as well as different

Actress Sonya Saamoor, who has showcased her acting chops in various TV shows, recently impressed the audience with her acting skills in the jio cinema series- Fuh se Fantasy. The actress played the lead ‘Shalini’ who’s a Gen-Z and has a different take on romance. No doubt, Sonya garnered immense praise and love for her presence in the web show. Recently, while talking to us, Sonya opened up on being a part of the show and more.

The actress says, “Well, I absolutely loved playing shalini. The character was different to the roles I have played in the past and it was like a breath of fresh air. Personally, I love to play characters which surprise me.”

Further, Sonya says, “Now, I want to dwell more on web headlines. I don’t want myself to be categorised with any particular platform.Being an actor, I wish to grow by playing layered and prominent roles in interesting stories, no matter what the platform is. It was a delight to be a part of this series. And in the future, too, I wish to showcase my acting prowess for all the platforms and make a connection with the audience.”

Professionally, Sonya has been part of many TV shows, like Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2, Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Nazar, Sanjog and Sirf Tum.
