As the nine festive nights of devotion, music and dance begin, cities all across the nation gear up to make the best of the nine days with hosting Dandiya and Garba nights. Mumbai, which has been ever popular for its night life, adds more to its glory with Dadiya Pandels all across the city. Thousands get together to dance their heart out on this festive occasion.

Singers and music bands are high in demand during the nine nights. Telly Actors too use this time wisely to promote their shows. Recently Sony took to a mini tour to the two big dandiya grounds on Sunday, the 14^th of October, 2007.

Starting form hitting in Juhu to the Naidu grounds in Borrivalli, the actors made sure they made the best of it. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’s Sudha Chandran and Amber-Dhara’s Kashmira Irani and Sulagna Panigrahi, danced with the crowd and became a part of the madness. Joining them, was the Singing diva from this season's Indian Idol – Deepali who got everyone on their feet, with hit bollywood dance numbers.
