Aahat: B.P Singh's superhit horror series to be back on Sony TV with new season?

There is no 90s kid or TV viewing audience who does not know Aahat. The show on Sony TV was the spookiest of its time. From jump scares to iconic tune and stories packed with intrigue, the show was packaged really well. Fireworks Productions’ Aahat won many awards in that genre, and got a cult following. Now, as per Gossips TV, the show might return with a new season. This news has got a good response on social media. We had six seasons of Aahat so far on Sony TV. In days when people did not watch Conjuring or Exorcist, these shows gave us the thrills. 

The first season of Aahat had many talented atcors like Om Puri, Mandira Bedi, Tom Alter, Ashutosh Rana, Shivaji Satam, Virendra Saxena and others. The show was based on paranormal activities that included demonic possessions, zombies, phantoms, witches, wizards and so on. There is no confirmation from the show on the return of Aahat though. Fans have been demanding a comeback of CID as well. BP Singh’s show won a lot of technical awards back in the day.

Along with Aahat, there are more shows like Ssshhh…Koi Hai, X-Zone, Zee Horror Show that made up TV viewing then. Sony TV had one more show Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, which was also in horror and thriller genre. Let us now wait for things to be official.
