Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja who live in a tastefully done up home in Notting Hill in London will soon move into a much bigger house. Harish Ahuja who is the father of Anand Ahuja, and father-in-law of Sonam Kapoor has bought a home in Notting Hill that is worth USD 27 million. The purchase was done in July 2024. It is one of the biggest residential deals in the UK as per reports. Harish Ahuja is the chairman of Shahi Exports, which has a net worth of Rs 8,244 crores. The said property is over 20,000 square feet. It was owned previously by a UK charity. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja live in the same neighbourhood. She has described her home as a sanctuary in her interviews. The place is done up with antique furniture, and is fit to live for a king. 

Well, Harish Ahuja is the owner of one of the most expensive homes in Delhi. It is spread over 3,170 square yards and has over 9,000 square feet of built-up space. The worth of the home is Rs 173 crores. It is in the top three most expensive homes of Delhi along with that of Gautam Adani and Renuka Talwar’s who is the daughter of KP Singh, the founder of DLF. Sonam Kapoor has often shared pics from her Delhi home during occasions like Diwali, and special dinners hosted for prominent personalities. 

Harish Ahuja heads Shahi Exports. The firm was founded by his mother in 1975. She started a small export business from her home as she wanted to balance work and looking after her small children. Today, they have manufacturing units across all big Indian states and 70 per cent of their workforce is women. The company is the biggest exporter of denim from India. The worth of it is only Rs 10,000 crore per year. 

Sonam Kapoor has married into a family known for its entrepreneurship. Harish Ahuja has his mother’s zeal. Anand Ahuja is the founder of Bhane, the high street unisex clothing brand and it is retailed in India and other nations.
