Anil Kapoor pens a heartfelt note for friend Anupam Kher ahead of Vijay 69 release

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor recently celebrated his long-time friend and frequent collaborator Anupam Kher, lauding his bold career choices and versatility. Kapoor, who has starred alongside Kher in numerous films, expressed his admiration, saying, “Anupam Kher has been one of the biggest risk takers of our industry.” Highlighting his friend’s adaptability, he added, “He is the joker in the pack, a chameleon who can do anything. I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Anupam, and he is truly one of the best actors to have come out of India. Period.”

Kapoor also commended Kher’s successful transition to Hollywood, viewing it as an inspiration for many aspiring actors. Despite initial challenges with English, Anupam made a mark internationally, working with some of the biggest directors and actors.

"The fact that a Hindi medium boy managed to cross over and make his mark in Hollywood is a testament to his hunger to make a mark," Anil noted, praising Kher’s determination to bring pride to his family and his craft.

He further shared, "At 69, Anupam is a young boy at heart and trust me, I can vouch for the fact that he can push himself at the gym too! All the best Anupam Kher for Vijay69... by celebrating your 40 years in cinema, the entire industry is saluting you… We love you.”
