Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are going to tie the knot within a week. The marriage will happen in court followed by a wedding party at Bastian. Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been dating for seven years now. Fans are digging up all old interviews where the Heeramandi actress spoke about marriage. She had said that he is a conservative parent. 

As we know, Shatrughan Sinha is from a non-film background from Patna, Bihar. Poonam Sinha told Simi Garewal that Shatrughan Sinha is quite strict and conservative with his daughter. Poonam said, “He is as conservative as any father can be, and I would say much more, because coming from the background he comes from, he is extra conservative about Sonakshi.” 

It is no secret that Sonakshi Sinha who is the first born of Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha is her daddy’s darling. She said he is a caring and protective dad. Sonakshi admitted that she is a pampered kid.

There are some rumours that Shatrughan Sinha is not happy with Sonakshi’s choice of a life partner. The reason is allegedly the inter-faith marriage. But Pahlaj Nihalani who is very close to the actor has dismissed such talk. Shatrughan Sinha had said that there was no harm in dating a right person but he would not like Sonakshi to suffer heartbreaks. He said he hoped that his daughter would tell her parents when she falls in love. He hoped that she would do it with consent. Shatrughan Sinha was quoted as saying, “One day she would go to live with her in-laws, but given a chance and choice, we won't look for a son-in-law. We will look for another son for us, who is going to stay with us.”
