Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have their wedding reception tomorrow at Bastian in Mumbai. Shatrughan Sinha has confirmed that his wife and he are going to be a part of the celebrations. In an interview to a leading channel, he said that it is not the wedding but the reception. He said the full family will be there at the evening bash. This has generated curiosity if Zaheer Iqbal and Sona already had a quiet registered wedding and are now celebrating. It seems they wanted to marry earlier but delayed as the veteran Bollywood star was busy campaigning in West Bengal. He has won a seat from Asansol. 

There have been so many rumours around how the family is upset as Zaheer Iqbal is from a different faith, and not as successful as Sonakshi Sinha. On some sites, news spread that the actress did not consult family for preparation, which left them fuming. Her bro Luv Sinha said he is not involved in the matter. Shatrughan Sinha admitted that too much media attention is being given to a family matter. He said pre-wedding conflicts also happen. He assured everything is hunky dory now.

Shatrughan Sinha said that minor tussles were commonplace at any Indian home where a wedding was happening. He also said that just because Sonakshi Sinha was his daughter it did not mean that she was not a free individual with her own agency in life. He said everyone will party hard on June 23 2024.
