Simran Kaur Mundi is Baffled With Her Link up to a Delhi Event
Ask Simran and she says, “I woke up to an alert and post that my phone hasn't stop ringing, until I clarified that I have not been approached by the said event and even if I was, I would not have been a part of it. This baffles me how my name has been linked to it.”

Simran Kaur Mundi was surprisingly shocked when she woke up to a news alert followed by several calls with regards to a children’s event in Delhi.
Interestingly, it was a Children’s marathon event being flagged off by Simran. However Simran was never approached for this event in the first place.
Ask Simran and she says, “I woke up to an alert and post that my phone hasn't stop ringing, until I clarified that I have not been approached by the said event and even if I was, I would not have been a part of it. This baffles me how my name has been linked to it.”
“It is great that an event like this was taking place, but I feel otherwise about the timing of it. In my personal opinion, with the hazardous levels of air quality for the time being, children should refrain from participating in any physical activity what so ever”, emphasises Simran.

Ask her about her view on the current state of Delhi pollution, “ We cannot ‘solely’ pass on the blame of stubble burning onto the farmers. In 2014, WHO released a report that said Delhi has the dirtiest air and 22 of the world’s 30 most air polluted cities are in India! Its been 5 years since then, and today here we are. We need to work all around the year and efforts made shouldn’t just be Delhi-centric but should be pan-India as pollution is not just one city’s issue” signs off the Punjabi kudi.
