Shweta Gautam and Aleeza Khan share a very good rapport from the days of Zee TV's Betiyann!! And today, they are all set to share screen space yet again in Star Plus and Shreya Creations' new show Love U Zindagi that premieres tonight at the 7 PM slot..
Shweta Gautam who was last seen in COLORS' Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam will once again essay a mother's role in the Star Plus show. She plays the character of Amanpreet, who is the chachi of the protagonist Geet, played by Pavitra Punia. Aleeza plays Amanpreet's daughter, Roop. We hear that Shweta and Aleeza share the same make-up room, and have a blast on the sets.
Our source states, "Both Shweta and Aleeza bring a lot of eatables on sets, and the entire cast gathers in their room to have fun whenever there is some free time. The entire cast mingles like one big family".
Shweta Gautam tells TellyBuzz, "It's great to be working with Aleeza again. In this show, we have a mother-daughter relationship and it feels nice to be playing her mother on screen. She is a very lovely girl and I share a great rapport with her".
Aleeza feels that their mother-daughter relationship is not curtailed to on screen alone. "She is like a mother figure to me, and is always there when I need help on sets. She gets food for me, and takes care of me whenever I am not well. It's very difficult when we actors stay away from family for work. And to get such caring people at work is very difficult".
Shweta Gautam's character in Love U Zindagi is shown to be the silent principled lady of the house. The reason behind her silence will open up as the story unfolds. Like mother, Roop (Aleeza Khan) too is the sober, silent, understanding daughter, who is typically the opposite of the bubbly, full-of-life protagonist Geet Dhillon (Pavitra Punia).

Censor Board are hypocrites! They let cheap, vulgar gyrations pass in the name of entertainment but they censor realistic portrayal of domestic violence and safe sex?

That''s sad...I don''t think reality shud be sugar coated...atleast not when it involves.issues like domestic violence...

i think people need to see the truth... these things happen in the world and the only way to educate people is through the media... If the censor board has a problem put an age rating to it... don''t cut parts of the movie because it hurts sensibilities...
