Actor Shriya Saran has been one of the most popular names on the entertainment circuit having been in some of the most successful films over the years. However, since her marriage with husband Andrei Koscheev and her pregnancy, she was off the circuit for a long time.
But it was only confirmed now that Saran and husband Koscheev are now parents to a beautiful daughter. That's right. She announced the happy news on Instagram. Now going on to talk about it and giving her first interview post having a daughter to Bombay Times, Saran said, "My baby is 9-months-old and I don't think that I could've hidden her any longer. She's already a well-travelled baby who has been to quite a few parts around the globe. I feel so happy; it's like a child has given birth to a mother. Radha is my best friend."
She said that they have named her Radha and her husband loves the name. Saran and her husband have been living in Barcelona where they spent the lockdown months. About it, she said, "Radha was born in Barcelona. It's a planned baby. The world had come to an abrupt halt and we thought it was the best time to start a family". Normal delivery or Caesarean? Shriya replied, "It was a normal delivery; it went off smoothly."
Interestingly, Saran is now back in Mumbai and in fact, has resumed work, "In fact, I have started work on a film 'A Musical School' with Sharman Joshi. Then I have a Telugu film 'Gamnam' which will be dubbed in many languages, including Hindi. And then comes the big S S Rajamouli film 'RRR'. I have also lost a lot of weight by now and am perfectly fit."
"I have sufficient help and support system. My mom is here; so it's not going to be tough to look after Radha while I'm shooting," she added.
We wish the couple loads of congratulations and continued happiness.
