Actress Shilpa Shetty says that if a project is not delayed, there is nothing wrong with no-pregnancy clause for actresses.
"I don't think there is anything wrong with the clause. At the end of the day, we all are here to work and a lot of money is riding on the actors," Shilpa told reporters during the press conference of "Dishkiyaoon".
"Yes, I can understand if the project goes on till four to five years, then it's not acceptable. But if you sign a project for a year or so, then I think it's fine. I personally feel there is nothing wrong with the (no) pregnancy clause," said the actress, who has turned producer with "Dishkiyaoon".
Whether no-pregnancy clause be included in an actress's contract became a topic of discussion ever since the rumours of Vidya Balan's pregnancy surfaced, although the actress has denied the reports.
Directed by Sanamjit Singh Talwar, "Dishkiyaaon" features Sunny Deol and Harman Baweja in the lead roles. It is slated for a March 28 release.
Asked about her role as a producer, Shilpa said: "There is a lot of pressure on producers. I have to touch Sunny's feet who has managed to produce so many films. So far, the experience has been great and I am still learning a lot of things."
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old, who is on a break from acting, said she will take two more years to face the camera.
"I have always been connected to the industry. At the moment I am too busy as my son is too small. I will take two more years to face the camera," said Shilpa, who is married to businessman Raj Kundra. Their son will turn two in May this year.
