Mumbai, June 10 (IANS) Five years after director Anubhav Sinha's 'Dus'(2005), actresses Shilpa Shetty and Esha Deol will be seen together again in Partho Ghosh's 'Signature' essaying the roles of mentally ill people.
'The film 'Signature' is a romantic thriller where it shows two women - Shilpa Shetty and Esha Deol, who are somehow mentally ill... and there is Milind Soman who gets trapped between these two women,' '100 Days' director Ghosh told IANS in an exclusive interview.
This would be Shilpa's first release after her marriage with Britain-based businessman Raj Kundra last year. 'Signature' was completed when the actress returned from Britain after winning the reality show 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2007.
'The film was completed almost a year-and-a-half ago. The release got delayed because of some internal brawl between producer and financier. The budget of the film is Rs.6 crore,' said Ghosh whose another thriller 'Ek Second: Jo Jindagi Badal De' is releasing Friday.
Starring Jackie Shroff, and Manisha Koirala in lead roles, the film shows how a decision made in one second can turn the way of living of our life.
'Once my 'Ek Second: Jo Jindagi Badal De' is released, we will start promoting 'Signature',' Ghosh told IANS.
The director, who has given critically acclaimed and box office hits like 'Agni Sakshi'(1996) and 'Yugpurush: A Man Who Comes Just Once in a Way'(1998) is positive about the film's box office prospect.
'It's a very interesting story line. It's a very engrossing thriller and I am sure people will love to see it. The film will get released by August end or September,' he said.
