The unexpected passing of Shefali Jariwala has deeply saddened many. Initially, reports suggested the actress, aged 42, had died from cardiac arrest. However, the Mumbai police have since confirmed that she was discovered deceased in her Mumbai residence. Authorities have indicated that her body was transferred to Cooper Hospital for a postmortem examination on Friday evening.

Following the sudden death of Shefali Jariwala, her husband, Parag Tyagi, was seen in public for the first time, appearing deeply affected. He was papped in Mumbai on Saturday with their dog, Simba. A video of the moment, capturing Parag's visible grief, is circulating widely. The video also shows Parag holding a photo of Shefali, with police vehicles visible nearby.

Shefali Jariwala was taken to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. While initial reports claimed that the actress died of cardiac arrest at 42, Mumbai police have now stated that Shefali was found dead in her Mumbai apartment. The police officials stated that the actress was found dead, following which her body was sent to the Cooper hospital for a postmortem on Friday night. The cause of death is not known as of now.

“Her body was found at her residence in the Andheri area. Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear," the Mumbai police said, reported ANI.

Shefali Jariwala was last seen in the supernatural show Shaitani Rasmein in 2024 and was known for her outspoken presence on Bigg Boss 13. She gained initial fame in the early 2000s with the music video Kaanta Laga. She also appeared in reality shows like Boogie Woogie, Nach Baliye 5, and Nach Baliye 7.

She was previously married to musician Harmeet Singh (of Meet Brothers) in 2004, divorcing in 2009. She later married actor Parag Tyagi in 2015, who was seen heartbroken after her passing.

Numerous television actors have expressed their sorrow over Shefali Jariwala's passing on social media. Kamya Punjabi, Rashami Desai, Rajiv Adatia, and Kishwer Merchant are among those who have shared their grief regarding Shefali's untimely death.
