Industry is currently mourning the loss of actress and model Shefali Jariwala, who tragically passed away at 42. Celebrated for her iconic role in the music video Kaanta Laga, her sudden death has deeply shocked fans and the industry. Adding to the poignancy, her last post on X (formerly Twitter) was a heartfelt tribute to her "Bigg Boss 13" co-contestant and former partner, Sidharth Shukla, underscoring the enduring connections she fostered throughout her career.

Sidharth, the winner of Bigg Boss season 13, passed away in 2021 from a cardiac arrest. On his death anniversary, Shefali Jariwala shared a throwback photo of them hugging, writing, “Thinking of you today mere dost @sidharth_shukla."

In a past interview, Shefali discussed their evolving relationship after the show. “See, initially we bonded and then we had a bad fight. After he came back from the secret room, our equation got better. Both of us are very logical people. Also, we have similar interests, we would talk about travel, space, bullet trains and what not. Even after we stopped dating, we were always cordial whenever we bumped into each other," she had said to BollywoodLife.

Shefali and Sidharth were in a relationship over 15 years ago. Since 2014, Shefali had been happily married to actor Parag Tyagi.

Reports indicate that Shefali was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, after 11 pm, accompanied by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and others. Tragically, she passed away before arrival, as confirmed by a hospital receptionist.

Hospital authorities, including Dr. Vijay Lulla, have refrained from releasing details, citing patient confidentiality. However, sources indicate her body has been sent for a postmortem to Cooper Hospital, with initial reports suggesting cardiac arrest as the likely cause of death, though no official statement from her family has been released.

Shefali, last seen in the 2024 show Shaitani Rasmein, was known for her bold presence on Bigg Boss 13. She gained early fame in the 2000s with the music video Kaanta Laga. Over the years, she participated in reality shows like Boogie Woogie, Nach Baliye 5, and Nach Baliye 7.
