Shefali Jariwala’s sudden demise makes Himanshi Khurana feel 'Bigg Boss is cursed'

The entertainment world mourns the loss of Shefali Jariwala, known for her role in the Kaanta Laga music video and as a Bigg Boss 13 contestant, who passed away at 42. Her sudden death has shocked fans and the industry alike. Himanshi Khurana, a fellow Bigg Boss 13 participant, expressed her grief, stating that she feels the show is "cursed."

Himanshi Khurana shared her heartbreak on Instagram, reacting to Shefali Jariwala's passing. Posting a throwback selfie with Shefali, she wrote, "Bigg Boss, that place is cursed, I think," accompanied by a heartbreak emoji. The image showed the two Bigg Boss 13 contestants happily together, highlighting their friendship.

Shefali Jariwala was taken to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi, where she was pronounced dead on arrival. While initial reports claimed that the actress died of cardiac arrest at 42, Mumbai police have now stated that Shefali was found dead in her Mumbai apartment. The police officials stated that the actress was found dead, following which her body was sent to the Cooper hospital for a postmortem on Friday night. The cause of death is not known as of now.

“Her body was found at her residence in the Andheri area. Mumbai Police received information about this at 1 am. Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The cause of death is not yet clear," the Mumbai police said, reported ANI.

Shefali Jariwala was last seen in the supernatural show Shaitani Rasmein in 2024 and was known for her outspoken presence on Bigg Boss 13. She gained initial fame in the early 2000s with the music video Kaanta Laga. She also appeared in reality shows like Boogie Woogie, Nach Baliye 5, and Nach Baliye 7.

She was previously married to musician Harmeet Singh (of Meet Brothers) in 2004, divorcing in 2009. She later married actor Parag Tyagi in 2015, who was seen heartbroken after her passing.

Numerous television actors have expressed their sorrow over Shefali Jariwala's passing on social media. Kamya Punjabi, Rashami Desai, Rajiv Adatia, and Kishwer Merchant are among those who have shared their grief regarding Shefali's untimely death.
