Shefali Jariwala death: Security guard reveals what exactly happened, 'Shefali and Parag were seen…'

Actress and model Shefali Jariwala passed away late Friday at 42. Shatrughan, the watchman, reported that she was taken to the hospital around 10:30 PM. He mentioned seeing her and her husband, Parag Tyagi, with their dog the previous evening, expressing disbelief at the news of her passing.

Shatrughan, the security guard on duty, recounted the events of Friday night to NDTV, mentioning, “Around 10:30 at night, Shefali ji was taken to the hospital. Before that, at around 9 PM, her husband Parag Tyagi came to the society on a motorcycle. I was the one who opened the gate."

He also remembered seeing the couple with their dog in the society compound the night before. “Just the evening before yesterday, Shefali and Parag were seen in the society compound with their dog," he said.

Following Shefali's transport to the hospital, police and forensic teams arrived, according to Shatrughan. "The police have been inside since last night. There were two mobile forensic unit vehicles – one has left, one is still here," he added.

Describing the moment they learned of Shefali’s death, Shatrughan said that a man, who appeared to be a friend, arrived on a motorcycle to inform them that Shefali had passed away. He expressed disbelief at the news, having seen her just the day before her death.

The entertainment world and fans alike are mourning the loss of actress Shefali Jariwala, who passed away unexpectedly. Initial reports indicated a possible cardiac arrest as the cause, but Mumbai police have since confirmed her death at her Mumbai residence. Her body was taken to Cooper Hospital for a postmortem examination on Friday evening, as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding her passing.

In the wake of this tragedy, Shefali Jariwala's husband, Parag Tyagi, has been seen publicly for the first time. He was photographed in Mumbai on Saturday, visibly grieving as he held their dog, Simba. A widely shared video captures the depth of Parag's sorrow, with police vehicles also present in the background, underscoring the ongoing investigation.

Shefali Jariwala was last seen in the supernatural show Shaitani Rasmein in 2024 and was known for her outspoken presence on Bigg Boss 13. She gained initial fame in the early 2000s with the music video Kaanta Laga. She also appeared in reality shows like Boogie Woogie, Nach Baliye 5, and Nach Baliye 7.

She was previously married to musician Harmeet Singh (of Meet Brothers) in 2004, divorcing in 2009. She later married actor Parag Tyagi in 2015, who was seen heartbroken after her passing.
