Shatrughan Sinha is a proud father!

Shatrughan Sinha has heaped praises on the hard work she has put in for her forthcoming film "Akira".

"Sonakshi has done 'Akira' with so much of devotion and concentration even I wasn't like her when I used to do action films. She is a hard worker," Shatrughan said here.

"Akira" sees Sonakshi's character coming to Mumbai from Jodhpur, where she gets into a tiff with the goons of the college she enrolls in. The story is about her fight to come out of a case in which the goons and corrupt police officials play crucial roles.

"Let us wait for the release and the audience's feedback. I am happy that Sonakshi's performance in 'Akira' has been appreciated well. Even my friends, colleagues from Bollywood, Sonakshi's seniors are praising her," the proud father added.

Presented by Fox Star Studios, "Akira" is directed by A.R. Murugadoss. The film, also stars Anurag Kashyap and Konkona Sen Sharma, will release on September 2nd.
