Shantanu Maheshwari: " Recently we have not really seen an authentic love story so I....."

Shantanu Maheshwari's second film release is going to be seeing him in an intense love story, with a twist this time around. The actor is all set to romance Saie Manjrekar in 'Auron Mein Kahan DumTha'. Both actors will be playing the younger versions of Ajay Devgan and Tabu in this beautiful story to tell, which also has a strong element of suspense.

Speaking about what he looks for in a love story, Shantanu says, "For me, a good love story should ignite the feelings of, I have experienced this emotion personally, hence I relate to it. Secondly the feeling of hope, and that I definitely want to experience this emotion. These two criterias are ones that connect with me the most when I am watching a love story based film".

He added, "In recent times we have not really seen an authentic love story been made, so I am happy that we are finally putting one out with our film."

Earlier, we saw Shantanu make his Bollywood debut with the film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', where he played the love interest of Alia Bhatt. His role was well-taken and he was lauded by the audiences and critics alike to start this journey with a powerful screen presence. 

'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' starring Ajay Devgan, Tabu, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saie Manjrekar is set to release on the 5th of July. The film marks Shantanu's second movie after a spectacular debut into films. Shantanu's well wishers and the audience are already looking forward to another epic collaboration with him and celebrated director Neeraj Pandey.
