Shalini Khanna gets a 'surprise' baby shower by her telly friends!

It seems the merry times for actor Bhanu Uday are here to stay. The actor is currently enjoying his stint in the recently launched show, 'Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai' and is being applauded for his performance.

We contacted Amit Verma, who is one of Shalini's close friends, he said, "I know Shalini since 2003, where we were introduced to each other by a mutual co-actor. That was it, as we got along so well that till date she is my best female friend. And when it comes to Bhanu and her, I was actually the cupid between them as I introduced them to each other and the rest is history.

He added, "It's such a special feeling for me that Shalini is expecting a baby... Hence, myself, Shalini's best friend- Suchita, Aanchal Sabharwal and Ami Trivedi planned a baby shower for her and it was amazing. I wish her all the best in her life which is about to change soon."
