Shahswat Singh: It's a privilege to sing the medley for Dharam Ji & Ranveer Singh in a Karan Johar film

'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' has turned out to be a massive blockbuster and a highly-loved and acclaimed film of the year.
Recently India Forums got in touch with Shashwat Singh, the exceptionally talented playback singer, who is experiencing a whirlwind of emotions as he reflects on his journey in the world of music, particularly in Karan Johar's recent blockbuster, 'Rocky Rani ki Prem Kahani.' For Shashwat, this opportunity is nothing short of a dream come true, and he's overflowing with gratitude for being part of such an iconic project.

When we spoke to Shashwat, he says,
"the songs from the movie are really special and close to my heart, as I have been listening to them and singing them since my childhood. I loved them so much that the universe has given me this opportunity to sing this medley from the past alongside legendary Dharmendra Sir and the charismatic persona of Ranveer Singh. It's a tremendous privilege."
He further adds,
"singing this medley was genuinely fun because, of course, Dada studio's engineers are my friends; they just told me to flow freely while expressing and dubbing the songs. The medley was a tribute to the golden era of Indian cinema, which has left an indelible mark on the hearts of generations. I am very glad about it."
Lastly, Singh says,
"it was an overall amazing experience to be a part of such a fantastic movie, with such a great cast, and, importantly, with a director as great as Karan Johar. I am eagerly looking forward to similar opportunities ahead too."
The film which was released on 28th July boasted an ensemble cast including Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles.
