Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller 'Jawan' is proving to be an unstoppable force at the box office, as it maintains its roaring run into its second week. After an outstanding opening week in India, spanning Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu audiences, the film has added another feather to its cap with an impressive Day 8 box office collection.

According to early estimates reported by sacnilk.com, 'Jawan,' directed by Atlee, raked in a whopping Rs 16 crore on its eighth day since release. This outstanding performance brings the film's updated collection after Day 8 to an impressive Rs 386 crore, positioning it tantalizingly close to the monumental Rs 400 crore milestone.

The film concluded its opening week in India with a staggering Rs 369.22 crore in its coffers. Out of this, the Hindi collection accounted for Rs 327.88 crore, while the South Indian markets (Tamil + Telugu) contributed a significant Rs 41.55 crore to the film's success.

But 'Jawan' isn't just conquering hearts and box office records in India; it has transcended borders and already crossed the Rs 650 crore mark worldwide.

What's even more promising is that 'Jawan' is set to continue its impressive run over the second weekend, with no significant Bollywood releases to contend with. The next set of releases, mid-budget films, are slated for September 22, giving it ample room to extend its dominance.

'Jawan', a star-studded ensemble, features Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Deepika Padukone, Ridhi Dogra, and Sanjay Dutt. Produced by Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, the film made its grand entrance on September 7.
