Selective thy name is Purbi Joshi...

Purbi Joshi, after being declared Ms. Television, is oozing with confidence. Ask her whether she expected this win and she will respond, "To be honest, yes. I was confident about my talent and was pretty sure that I will make it to the finals. And of course can win the title."

But she is honest to admit that her partner also had a big role to play in the victory. "Karan Wahi was a very good partner to have in the show. We both worked very hard," says the tall, dark and sexy actress who is well known for her mimicry and comic skills. Coming from a family where both her parents are theatre artistes, Purbi started mimicking her friends, parents and even school teachers from a very tender age.

"One good thing that happened for me in Mr. and Ms. TV did was to prove that I can do a lot more than just mimicry. This was a show where you have to show all your talents right from acting, dancing to singing. I am happy that people have come to know about my other qualities also", quips Purbi.

Purbi feels that her best moment was when she got good comments for her tragedy acts. "Even I was surprised when I got good feedback from the judges," says the actress who doesn't mind doing saas-bahu serials, but only if the role appeals to her.

Purbi has always been very choosy right from the start of her career and after winning this title, she has become even more selective. Way to go, Purbi!!
