Sasural Simar Ka actress set to come back on TV after a 2 year gap!

TV actress Shalini Sahuta, who is best known for playing the role of 'Sonia' in much-loved Colors show 'Sasural Simar Ka' featuring Dipika Kakar in lead role, is away from small-screen since a long time. Last seen in playing one of the three leads in SAB TV's 'Trideviyaan' along with Aishwarya Sakhuja in 2017, Shalini Shauta is all set to come back on TV after a gap of two years.

The talented actress is coming back on TV with an episodic in And TV's popular show 'Laal Ishq'.

Shalini confirmed the same to a leading daily and revealed that she will play the role a village belle named 'Saloni' in 'Laal Ishq'. She learnt to speak village lingo for role as she will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in 'Laal Ishq'.

The episodic, featuring Shalini Sahuta, will revolve around her character that will fall in love with a cricketer and the actress is excited to play both protagonist as well as vamp in the show.

Talking about her two-year sabbatical from small-screen, Shalini further told that daily that, she wants to try her hands in films now. During her break, she was learning gymnastics as well as boxing and wishes to do an action film. She said yes to 'Laal Ishq' as she has not done anything like it till now.

On the TV front, Shalini has features in show like 'Naaginn', 'Baba Aiso Varr Dhundo', 'Uff! Yeh Nadaniyaan' among others. Whereas, she also one of the maids in Salman Khan starrer 'Ready' along with 'Sacred Games' fame Kubra Sait.
