Amrita Singh - Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan is currently having a rough time with her dream Bollywood debut. At first, her debut film 'Kedarnath' came to a stand-still due to a tiff between the film's director Abhishek Kapoor and the production house KriArj Entertainment.
Things started to fall into place after Sara bagged a role in Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba' and this film appeared to be her Bollywood debut. But, a few days ago, Sara Ali Khan found herself in a legal trouble as her team had given the same dates to directors Rohit Shetty and Abhishek Kapoor.
Director Abhishek dragged this matter into the court and demanded a fine of Rs 5 crore from Sara Ali Khan. Sara's father Saif tried to intervene but to no help. Now, a report in DNA reveals that the matter is sorted and the directors have settled the date issue.
The report read, "When Kedarnath landed into trouble and was stalled after a fallout between Abhishek Kapoor (Gattu) and Prernaa Arora, the agency that manages the newbie actress gave bulk dates in June and July to Rohit and Karan Johar for Simmba. Now that Ronnie Screwvala has come on board and is backing Kedarnath, Gattu and he wanted the same dates from Sara to complete their movie. They decided to take a legal recourse soon".
The report further stated that the hearing of the case was supposed to be held today but the directors have sorted out the date issues outside the court itself. A source informed, "Rohit and Gattu had a talk. Ronnie, too, was present at the meeting. The three filmmakers met on Sunday to discuss the matter. Karan Johar couldn't be there as he's holidaying in the US. They have come to a mutual agreement. Sara will shoot simultaneously for Kedarnath and Simmba".
"While she films Simmba, the Kedarnath team will complete the portions that don't include her and vice versa. The directors have worked it out", the report concluded.
