Sanjay Dutt's biopic is helmed by Rajkumar Hirani starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role as Sanjay Dutt. Dutt's biopic is one of the biggest and anticipated films of the year.

According to the sources and reports, Sanjay Dutt wants the trailer of his to be released on May 8, 2018, as the superstar made his debut with the film "Rocky" in 1981 on the same date. His debut film is very close to him as it was directed by Sanjay father Sunil Dutt and was released a few days after the death of Nargis Dutt. It also starred Reena Roy and Tina Munim in pivotal roles.
