Sanjay Dutt celebrated his 60th birthday on June 29. And on this special occasion, the actor treated his fans with a bushel of good news! The actor unveiled the teaser of his first home production 'Prasthanam' and also shared his first look as Adheera in the much-awaited film 'KGF: Chapter 2'. Sanju will be sharing the screen with Kannada superstar Yash and will be seen playing the antagonist in the movie.

During a recent media interaction, Dutt opened up about his new movie venture and his role in the film. The Kalank actor revealed that his character is going to be very similar to that of Thanos from the Avengers franchise. Sanjay said, ''KGF mein Adheera ka character bohut powerful hai aur agar apna Avengers dekha hai toh agar apne Thanos ko dekha hai toh Adheera vaisa hi hai. KGF first chapter mein end mein aata hai, lekin isme aake kafi khatarnak kisam ka character hai aur khatarnak get up hai. And I think that was the zone I was looking for and its there.''
A few days back the makers of KGF Chapter 2 had revealed the first poster of the movie, however keeping the name of the actor playing Adheera undisclosed. After a lot of speculations stating that Dutt would be a part of the thriller-drama and now that the news is confirmed, the actor’s fans are going crazy. The makers of the film shared the poster on Twitter and captioned the post, "Presenting #MotherOfAllCollisions @duttsanjay as #Adheera. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday Sir. #SanjayDuttAsAdheera in #KGFChapter2."

While Prasthanam stars Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala, Ali Fazal, and Satyajeet Dubey in pivotal roles, KGF Chapter 2 is being helmed by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment, who produced the first installment KGF Chapter 1 as well.
