Sanjay Dutt, who is celebrating his 62nd birthday today, has given his admirers many reasons to rejoice over the last three decades. Dutt continues to receive a lot of love and adoration on social media, thanks to his film selections and characters like Munnabhai. In a recent interview, Sanjay discussed the meaning of heroism and its influence on the business, as well as the types of films that Bollywood should resume producing.
Sanjay was questioned by a leading news portal if he believes that the subject of the films are evolving, as is the audience's reaction. The Munnabhai MBBS actor stated categorically that entertainers are not going away, adding that while people change with the times, entertainers are here to stay. He believes that action films with a lot of heroism would never fade away.
He went on to say that he believes his side of the business should return to its roots and draw inspiration from films like Sholay and Zanjeer, as well as his own films like Vaastav:The Reality and Khal Nayak. He suggested that they start creating movies like that.
When asked if fans will get another chance to experience Munna Bhai's magic, he suggested the question be directed to Rajkumar Hirani. Everyone has been waiting for 'jaadu ki jhappi,' after all.
Meanwhile, Sanjay will next be seen in KGF: Chapter 2 with Yash and Raveena Tandon. The film be released in theatres on April 14th.
