Salman Khan and Yash Raj Films have every reason to break out into celebrations as 'Tiger 3' roars triumphantly at the box office, achieving the remarkable feat of crossing the Rs 100 crore mark within just two days of its release. According to a report by Sacnilk, the film amassed a staggering Rs 57.52 crore on its second day, following an impressive Rs 44.5 crore collection on Sunday. This brings the total two-day box office collection to an impressive Rs 102 crore.
What makes this achievement even more noteworthy is that Tiger 3's second-day figures surpass the second-day collection of the year's blockbuster hit, 'Jawan'. While Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan raked in Rs 74.5 crore on its opening day, it saw a dip on the second day, making Rs 53 crore.
Internationally, 'Tiger 3' has also made a significant impact, clocking in Rs ₹94 crore on its opening day. This places the film among the elite league of global blockbusters and adds another feather to Salman Khan's cap.
'Tiger 3', a sequel to the 2017 blockbuster 'Tiger Zinda Hai', is part of Yash Raj Films' ambitious spy universe, which promises interconnected narratives with characters from Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan' and Hrithik Roshan's 'War' in future stories. The film, set after the events of 'Pathaan', sees Salman Khan's titular spy racing against time to safeguard both his family and country, marking the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe.
The anticipation for 'Tiger 3' was palpable, with advance bookings opening on November 5.
As 'Tiger 3' continues to dominate the box office, Salman Khan reaffirms his status as the box office king, and fans eagerly await how the film will further bolster its impressive performance in the days to come.
