Salman Khan’s Eco-Friendly Ganesh Chaturthi, Heartfelt Prayer to Lord Ganesha Steals the Show

Salman Khan, the Bollywood superstar, was recently spotted at a special event in Mumbai, gearing up for the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Known for his devotion, Salman took a moment to make a heartfelt wish to Lord Ganesha. A video that has since gone viral shows the actor gently picking up one of the Ganesha idols at the event and whispering a prayer into the idol’s ears. His gesture has won the hearts of many fans who look up to him not just as an actor but also as a person who values traditions and spirituality.

The event, held in Mumbai, also saw the presence of Salman’s Hum Saath Saath Hain co-star Sonali Bendre. The two were seen offering their prayers together. Salman, who is known to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm every year, shared that his family always opts for eco-friendly idols.

He emphasized the importance of purity in the festival, saying, "Humare parivaar mein jab hum Ganesh ji laate hai ghar pe, toh hum eco-friendly hi late hai. Itna pure festival hai, usme impure Ganesh? Ganesh ji ko bhi pure hona chahiye na." This year, Ganesh Chaturthi falls on September 7, and like Salman, several Bollywood celebrities including Shraddha Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, and Riteish Deshmukh are expected to bring home the idol and celebrate the festival with fervor.

On the work front, Salman Khan is keeping busy with his upcoming projects. He is set to collaborate with renowned director A.R. Murugadoss on a film titled Sikandar, which is scheduled to release on Eid next year.

Additionally, there are rumors about a much-anticipated Tiger vs Pathaan film that could bring together some of the biggest names in Bollywood. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Salman back on the big screen.
